Google Sniper Week #5 – Now Going For Adsense Sniper Sites

So I have done over a month of this Google Sniper project, and created a total of 14 sniper sites. This week I havent done so much work on my sniper sites, but made some research and got some new ideas. So far I have experience that the Clickbank products really have a low conversion rate. I havent sold a singe Clickbank product yet, even though I’m getting more and more hops. About 30% of the visitors on the sniper sites click on the affiliate links – thats 30% CTR, which is pretty amazing, but doesnt help me at all, if people doesnt buy the products.

Now Making Adsense Sniper Sites

I tried doing some research and rethinking of my project this weekend, as I took a travel to La Paz and got a lot of time to relax, do some work and think about my strategy. With the low CTR on clickbank, I figured out that it is better to go for CPC (Google Adsense) instead of Affiliate Marketing with CPA. Currently I am testing a few of the sniper sites with putting Adsense on it, and setting them to be viewed around 400 times. This will give me an idea of the CTR in those niches, and see if its more profitable to turn them into Adsense Snipers. Besides that I made some new Keyword Research, and registred 9 new domains for Adsense Sniper sites. One of these sites will be an authority site, as I like the subject and would like to add some more articles on the site. I’ll try to create 5 articles per week for the site, and see how it will go.

Inspired by Mike Iser, who is truly a site-building machine with over 70 Adsense Sniper sites, I will try to create 1 new Adsense Sniper every day in this week, and see how that goes. Next week I’ll have to decide if I want to spend some time creating backlinks with Unique Article Wizard (UAW) and EzineArticles, and maybe try some other techniques, or if I want to keep on pumping out Adsense Sniper Sites. I also decided to write atleast 1 EzineArticle for each site, with a link to the main site and one of the posts. I hope this will give me a good positive effect on the rankings for the sites.

Hey Christian, you are doing pretty good with your xfactor sites ranking! Good job!

That sucks about the google sniper sites. I have found that google snipping can work quite well with actual products and you can even try CPA offers.

    Best of luck to you!

Hey Sara, thanks for your comment – nice to see you’r reading along here. ;-)

Actually I’m not doing that good; the traffic on the keywords are far from as high at it should be. For my first keywords, I just took 3000+ searches montly on broad – not exact. So while they might rank pretty well, they are not getting that much traffic.

I hope to get more time to work on AdSense / Xfactor-style snipers soon, so far its pretty much just Clickbank based Google Snipers.

    Hi CJ,
I was researching this Google Sniper product and came across your website.
What do you think the problem is, do you think it’s the offered products?
Also, how exactly do you get paid with Clickbank or Adsense?
I’m asking this as I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about how this all works and links in together. Sorry if I’m so ignorant but you have to start somewhere.

    Regards Mike.

Hi Mike, thanks for commenting here.

I think the problem with the Clickbank snipers can be both the poduct (The landing-page of the product has alot to say wether the customer buys or not) and the keyword. In my case, maybe the keyword is not optimized good enough. I seem to have around the same CTR on my Sniper sites onto the affiliate links as George, but the traffic is much less though.

It is hard to say, for example I changed out the product for one of my niches, where it never even got as much as an order form impression – while the new product gets almost 10% order form impressions.

So it depends on many factors: The keyword (targeted traffic are better than just alot of traffic), the product and the mood of the customer.

Hope you get good luck, if you decide to start on some Google Sniping too.
