Thanks for your comments everybody.

@Mike: Business is going well, but still starting up, so there is lots of work to do. You are welcome to give me a call or write me an email, if you come back to Lima. Best of luck with your projects.

@Luz Maria: Thank you. I just rented an apartment in Surquillo/San Borja, but thank you for your offer.

@Renate: That sounds very cool. Lets meet and have a coffee (or beer) one day soon. You can send me an email to ch@easy-web.dk or give me a call at 989 330 747.
Good luck with your business!

i came to Peru,Lima in 31 dec. 2009 and i am from Estonia. In my country i have small business for 5 years - accommodate individual tourists who are coming to country without previous bookings to different kind of places like apartments, hostels, bed&breakfast, hotels without them paying any extra booking fee and also ofcoulse with best available rates which they can find in any online reservation systems.I bring that same idea here and with my peruvian partner we opened business very quickly. Now we are just waiting for getting lisence and our office is located in Miraflores near the Kennedy park and tourism information centre. I know for sure that any person who wants to start business here without knowing spanish or not having any knolidged people here will find it extreemly hard. I think i am very lucky to have such a person near me here who basicly made everything. We are about to open also company which will going to help people to open businesses here in Peru and helping them with any important information in Peru. My previous business before booking office in my country was selling and renting real estate for 16 y so i am thinking to do same thing here. And i would like to contact with you about webpages. But better by email.

Best regards,

Hi Nehal,

Where did you hear great things about the IT infrastructure in Peru? I really havent had good experience with this, as there are a lack of high-speed connections, and the private internet are both slow, unstable and expensive. The highest speed I have seen you can get here, is 4mbit.

In order to get a investor visa, you need to invest $25.000 in a Peruvian company, and have a business plan to hire 5 peruvians within 2 years. Though you can start op a business without this, but then you dont have permission to work in the country.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask me.
Best of luck with your future business!

Christian,

I'm interested in opening up a business in Lima, Peru. I heard great things about their IT infrastructure and would like to know in more detail on how to setup a small office down there. I'm more interested to learn the actual fixed capital needed to start any operations down there. If you have any advice then I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hey,

Stumbled across this blog somehow doing searches about Lima. How is your business going? I'm thinking about making a move down to Peru as well. I know a few people there from a previous visit and have no good prospects right now so I'm thinking about trying to make a go of it too. Good luck to both of us!

You are very welcome Rune, I can only say thanks for delivering the great tool. I am still amazed on how you find time for all your development projects, next to your work at Just-Eat..

Hi Christian,

Thanks so much for the nice review. I'm happy to see people getting value from the service!

Right now I'm so pressed for time that I'm struggling to find time to develop the service, but should be back on it in early March.

Hi Nat,

I have to admit that I dropped the Google Sniper project, I simply did not hae the time to put into it. Most of the sites are pulling a bit of traffic, in total generating around 15-35 hops every day, but they convert extremely bad. I had a few sales, but nothing to speak of, and the conversion rate is so low, that it is not really interesting, compared to the amount of work. I would suggest you to head over to Mike's blog as his work with Adsense Snipers looks to be really working, and the way to go with this, if you are interested in it. Personally it is too time consuming for me.
